Vikingo, El Último Caballero.
Holy Land, 13th Century
Acre was one of the greatest medieval battles in the Holy Land and one of the bloodiest. The end of the Crusaders’ dream.
Blood, fire and iron in an epic journey to adventure. This is the story of a boy from the north, a descendant of the ancient Vikings and a desperate struggle for survival, between honour and faith.
When a coarse and superior enemy surrounds the whitewashed walls of the last Christian bastion in the Holy Land, there is no time to flee, and there is only one way to go…. Kill or die.
Viking is a great medieval war story.

Viking, The Last Knight takes you into a key moment in history; The Siege of Acre, took place in 1291 and resulted in the loss of the city of Acre from Christian hands. It is considered one of the most important battles of the period, and is frequently mentioned by historians as the event that marked the end of the Crusades. When Acre fell, the Crusaders lost their last great fortress in the Christian Kingdom of Jerusalem. However, they still kept under their control a fortress, to the north, in the city of Tartus (Syria), and made several coastal incursions as well as an attempt to reconquer from the small island of Arwad, which they later also lost in 1302 at the Siege of Arwad. By then, the Crusaders no longer owned lands, cities or fortresses in the Holy Land.
