I lead engineering, teams and critical platforms in banking, fintech and payments, including evolutionary and corrective development for core banking systems. When technology truly matters, decisions need experience, judgement and execution.
I am a technology executive with more than twenty-five years of experience in software engineering, digital transformation, IT governance and critical platforms for the financial sector. My career connects programming, architecture, product, operations and team leadership in environments where failure is not an option: core banking, payments, acquiring, Open Finance, API enablement, enterprise integration and cloud/on-premise architectures.
For thirteen years I led the evolution of a collaborative CRM Product at Unísono, with more than 12,000 users, historical presence in 10 countries, enterprise integrations and ISO 9001 and ENAC certifications. Later, I managed areas at Minsait Payments - Indra Company related to acquiring, analytics, fraud prevention, testing, demand management, monitoring, Agile methodology implementation and iterative value delivery with high-performing teams. Today I am Head of Engineering at Nuek - Indra Company, leading multidisciplinary teams of more than one hundred professionals for regulated financial institutions.
My current focus is AI first with judgement: real automation, engineering productivity, knowledge governance, semantic layers, LLMs, local models and intelligent agents. Not AI as a slogan, but as a measurable operating capability.

2000-2002
Project lead and responsible manager for JD Edwards ERP implementations for the CEMEX group, working across financial modules, distribution, databases and corporate systems. During the same period, design and delivery of an Institutional Relations application for Ferrovial, connecting business processes, reporting and technology operations in demanding enterprise environments.
2005-2018
Thirteen years evolving a collaborative CRM product with more than 12,000 users, historical presence in 10 countries, multilingual operation and enterprise integrations. Leadership of a multidisciplinary team, proprietary methodology audited under ISO 9001 and ENAC certifications, with CRC Gold 2013 Best in Technology recognition.
2019-2023
Management of areas and projects in payments analytics, GetNet Santander acquiring, fraud prevention, demand management, testing, billing, probes and monitoring. Implementation of Agile methodologies, operational governance and iterative value delivery with high-performing teams. Consulting in blockchain, cryptocurrencies and CBDC.
2018-2019
Product Owner Payments for a mobility solution and payment platform for ticket reading using OCR and Machine Learning, focused on the retail sector and developed as a product for NTT Japan. A case of convergence between mobile experience, payments, analytics and intelligent automation applied to consumer processes.
2023-present
Head of Engineering in Customer Solutions, leading multidisciplinary development teams for regulated financial institutions. Focused on turning business needs into operable, scalable and sustainable platforms, with special attention to core banking, Open Finance, API enablement, integration and cloud architectures.
Present
Practical AI application in regulated environments: LLMs, local models, intelligent agents, process automation, engineering productivity, knowledge governance, semantic layers, advanced analytics, traceability, privacy and real adoption metrics. AI not as an isolated experiment, but as a governed operating layer.
